SnapPray does not require an account. We use an anonymous device ID to track prayer counts and streaks — never tied to your name, email, or Apple ID. Your prayers are stored locally on your device and are never shared or sold.
We track aggregate prayer counts (how many prayers have been prayed globally) to power the community features in Prayer Pulse. No personal information is involved.
No ads. Ever. SnapPray is funded by Premium subscriptions — not advertising. We believe a prayer app should be a sanctuary, not a storefront.

Tap the Snap to Pray button and take a photo — or choose one from your library. SnapPray analyzes your photo using computer vision technology to understand what's in the scene.
Free users receive a curated prayer from our library, matched to the type of scene in your photo — a sunset, a family gathering, a meal, a hospital room, and more.
Premium users receive a freshly generated AI prayer, written in real time based on exactly what's in your photo — and optionally, personal context you add.
The SnapPray prayer library contains thousands of hand-crafted prayers written and reviewed by our team. They cover feelings, prayer topics, life milestones, scripture, and photo moments — in pastoral and modern styles.
Library prayers are served instantly, work offline, and are available to all users at no cost. Every prayer in the library is theologically reviewed and written to be universal — designed to work for anyone in that moment, regardless of their specific circumstances.
SnapPray's prayer rotation system ensures you see different prayers before any repeat.
Premium AI prayers are generated in real time by advanced AI. When you tap Begin My Prayer, SnapPray generates a freshly written prayer — unique to you, in that moment.
AI prayers can be personalized with your context — names, situations, specific requests. They feel different from library prayers because they're written specifically for what you shared.
Every AI prayer follows strict theological guidelines — grounded in Christian faith, never contradicting scripture, always oriented toward God's character and promises.

Yes. Every prayer you pray is saved in My Prayers. Free users can access their last 30 days of prayers. Premium users have unlimited prayer history.
You can also share any prayer as a beautifully designed image card — with your photo (for Snap prayers) or a classic dark card — directly from the prayer screen.
Every day, SnapPray surfaces a different Bible verse from our library of over 500 verses — covering all 66 books of the Bible. The Daily Verse appears at the top of your Prayer Pulse carousel each morning.
You can Share the verse as a beautifully designed card, or tap Pray to write a prayer rooted in that scripture (Premium).

Choose how you're feeling — anxious, grateful, lonely, joyful, angry, confused, and more — and receive a prayer that meets you there. Free users receive library prayers. Premium users can add personal context for a prayer written specifically for their situation.
Choose a prayer topic — healing, guidance, relationships, finances, work, faith, grief, family, or repentance — and receive a prayer focused on that territory. Premium users can personalize with specific details.
Pray for the people and communities in your life — your family, friends, spouse, church, school, country, and the world. Premium users can add names and specific situations for deeply personal intercession prayers.
Search our Bible verse library — covering all 66 books — and receive an AI prayer rooted in that specific scripture. Pray the Word back to God. Premium feature.

Guided Prayer walks you through structured prayer models step by step — the Lord's Prayer (free), P.R.A.Y., ACTS, The Examen, BLESS, and Breath Prayer (Premium). Each model guides you through different dimensions of prayer with prompts and scripture.

SnapPray uses advanced neural voice technology to read your prayers aloud. Natural, warm, and on-device — no internet required once set up. Premium feature.

Faith & Privacy
No. SnapPray is non-denominational and independent. It is not affiliated with any church, denomination, ministry, or religious organization. SnapPray is built on the shared foundation of Christian faith — that prayer matters, God listens, and every moment is worth bringing before Him.
Your prayers are stored locally on your device in My Prayers. They are private to you — no one else can see them, including us.
We log anonymous prayer counts (category and style, no prayer text) to power community features like Prayer Pulse. These logs are tied to an anonymous device ID, never to your identity.
We never read your prayers. We never store prayer text on our servers.
Technical
AI prayer generation requires an internet connection. If your prayer didn't generate, check your connection and try again. If the issue persists, SnapPray will automatically fall back to a library prayer so you're never left without a prayer.
Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue continues, delete and reinstall SnapPray from the App Store — your Premium subscription will be restored automatically when you sign in with the same Apple ID.
